This Account Deletion Policy explains how users can request account deletion and what happens to their data after a deletion request is submitted.

1. Requesting Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their Jobonn account through one of the following methods:

Through the Mobile Application

If available, users can access the account deletion option within the Jobonn mobile application and submit a deletion request directly.

Through Email

Users may also request account deletion by sending an email to:

• Full Name
• Registered Email Address
• Registered Mobile Number
• Reason for Account Deletion (Optional)

2. Verification Process

To protect user accounts from unauthorized deletion requests, Jobonn may verify the identity of the account holder before processing any deletion request.

Additional information may be requested where necessary for verification purposes.

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon successful verification and approval of the deletion request, Jobonn will permanently delete or anonymize, where applicable:

• User account information
• Profile details
• Resume/CV uploads
• Job preferences
• Uploaded documents
• Application history stored within our systems
• Other personal information associated with the account

4. Data That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required:

• To comply with legal obligations
• To prevent fraud or abuse
• To resolve disputes
• To enforce our legal agreements
• For security, auditing, or regulatory purposes

Such retained information will be securely stored and used only for the purposes required by law.

5. Processing Time

Account deletion requests are generally processed within 7 to 15 business days after successful verification.

Users may receive confirmation once the deletion process has been completed.

6. Effect of Account Deletion

After account deletion:

• You will no longer be able to access your Jobonn account.
• Your profile will no longer be visible to employers.
• Active applications and recruitment activities may be discontinued.
• Deleted information may not be recoverable.

Users should ensure they have downloaded or retained any information they wish to keep before requesting deletion.

7. Changes to This Policy

Jobonn reserves the right to modify this Account Deletion Policy at any time.

Updated versions will be published on our website and mobile application with a revised "Last Updated" date.
